TCM Physician
- Kong Swee Siew
Physician Kong has gone through a very rigorous course of training in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Having graduated with a degree in Accountancy from the Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) in 1997, he decided to pursue his passion in TCM by enrolling himself in the Singapore College of Traditional Medicine (新加坡中医学院) , and graduated in 2005 with a Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. Physician Kong is a fully registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Physician with the TCM Practitioners Board of Singapore in 2005. Not content with this, he went on to further his graduate studies at the Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine (南京中医药大学) in 2007.
All of this training will mean little if it is not baptised with the fires of experience. To this end, Physician Kong has acquired much, having honed his clinical skills by attending to a myriad of patients in this impressive list of institutions:

Holistic, East-meets-West Approach
Further strengthened by his knowledge of western medicine, Physician Kong adopts a holistic, East-meets-West approach. With each new patient he performs thorough physical assessments and studies his/her individual health history, then meticulously explains the diagnostics to the patient. This helps the patient to better understand his/her own condition(s). He also provides invaluable advice on diet and lifestyle to help the patient manage his/her health more efficiently, thereby taking a “30% treatment, 70% self-care” approach.
Today, Physician Kong stands ready for all challenges, with the potent support of his extensive training and experience. Adding dedication into the equation, he treats each patient as an individual needing care. This has proven to be his concoction for success, as patients continue to come back to him for advice and treatment, often referring their friends to him as well.
Martial Arts Coaching and Training
Physician Kong is not a stranger in the sports arena. Back in his secondary school days, he captained his school Track and Field teams to National Championships. He then moved on to training and performing in Wushu (Martial Arts) for his junior college. Subsequently, he became a registered Martial Arts Instructor with Singapore Police Force Martial Arts Control Unit in 2001, and actively coached primary school students to achieve National honours in Wushu. He was a registered instructor with Ministry of Education (MOE), an international personal trainer certified by National Academy of Sports Medicine and has all the theoretical knowledge to go with his practical experience in practising as well as coaching sports.
